Security is a very important aspect of information systems. Some information is generally only intended for a certain group of people, therefore security is needed to prevent the information from reaching other parties who are not interested so that the possibility of leakage or misuse of information can be avoided by designing a security system that serves to protect the information system . Information security issues that we often encounter include passive tapping, active tapping, fraud and so on. In addition there are two main problems of text message security that must be considered by the user, namely the problem of privacy (privacy) and authenticity (autenthication). To overcome the above problems, the writer tries to design an application that can be used to do the encryption and decryption process by applying the triple transposition vigenere cipher algorithm in encryption and decryption. This algorithm is a super encryption algorithm, because in the encryption process it uses two techniques, namely transposition technique and substitution technique. Default Risk On Islamic Banking In Indonesia

Stability of financial institutions is a crucial issue amid the economic crisis that hit the US and Europe. Islamic banking in Indonesia as financial institutions are also required to have good stability in order to maintain the stability of the national economy. The aim of this research is to determine the stability of Islamic banking in Indonesia, and understand the factors that affect the stability. Stability of Islamic banking will be measured using Merton model to estimate the Probability Default (PD). Panel data regression was used to estimate the factors that affect the stability of Islamic Banking. The object of this research is 10 Islamic banking in Indonesia that meet the specified criteria. From the analysis of the Merton model, the research found that the stability of Islamic banking in Indonesia is not good enough. This can be seen from the value of the probability default on Islamic banking which still above 0.5. However, based on the trend, the probability default of Islamic banking has decreased from year to year. Some of the variables that influence the stability of Islamic banking is asset and BI rate (SBI)

Integrated arrangement of advanced power electronics through hybrid smart grid system

As an enabler component for renewable energy integration, power electronics (PE) technology in smart grid system is one of the most important issues of development the electrification, decentralization and information-technology/operation-technology (IT/OT) digitization within the electrical energy transmission and distribution systems. The arrangement of PE may different along the feeder either for grid-connected photovoltaic (PV), wind turbine, fuel cells, wave energy system and battery storage unit, respectively.This is due to the electric voltage that might need to be converted from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) and vice versa. For that reason, this paper proposed a concept of advanced PE as an integrated arrangement of several AC/DC/AC-and DC/AC- converters in such ways that support thepreviously mentioned grid-connected hybrid renewable energy sources and distributed generators (DGs) along the distribution feeder. Additionally, for the system that supported by battery storage unit, then this hybrid smart grid concept might become the answer for future utility needs

Interpersonal Communication and Situational Leadership on Teacher Performance

Teacher performance plays a very important role in improving the quality of learning and the quality of graduatesdetermined by interpersonal communication and situational leadership of the principal. This study aims toanalyze the influence of interpersonal communication and situational leadership of the principal on teacherperformance at SD IT Bunayya Lhokseumawe. The research method uses correlational, with a quantitativeapproach. Data collection used a questionnaire distributed to 38 respondents as a total sample. The measurementscale uses a Likert scale of four answer choices. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. Previously,prerequisite analysis tests were carried out using tests of data normality, autocorrelation, heteroskedasticity andmulticollinearity. The results of the study stated that teacher performance was significantly and simultaneouslyinfluenced by interpersonal communication and situational leadership of the principal by 70.7 percent and theremaining 29.3 percent was influenced by other variables that were not studied. Research contribution to theprincipal to open communication in providing positive responses and attitudes to teachers. The principal placeshimself according to the teacher’s situation so that he can foster good cooperation. Genetic Parameters on Combination Provenance-progeny Test of Araucaria Cunninghamii Origin From Manokwari (Papua) in Bondowoso, East Java

Araucaria cunninghamii as long fiber pulp raw material needs to be considered in the future which is currently imported from other countries to supply long-fiber pulp raw material in Indonesia. The improved seed sources need to be prepared early to determine the genetic gain. Combination provenance-progeny test of A.cunninghamii in Bondowoso, East Java is one of the researches that it was built to produce improved seed of A.cunninghamii in the future. The trial is laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 28 families, 4 trees per plot and 8 replicate with a spacing of 4 x 3 m. The results show that the average of height and diameter growth at the age of 5 and 10 years were 5.47 m; 8.20 cm and 16.05 m; 20.59 cm, volume/ha of the trees were 8.02 m3/ha and 74.52 m3/ha, and mean annual increment for volume were 1.60 m3/ha/year and 7.45 m3/ha/year. At 5 years old, stem diameter was significant between provenances, while at the age of 10 years significant differences for both traits. At the age of 5 and 10 years of family and individual heritability values were moderate, h2f = 0.40 - 0.50, h2i = 0.2 - 0.3; and h2f = 0.40 - 0.47, h2i = 0.28 - 0.29, while within family heritability (h2wf) was 0.41 - 0.48). Genetic correlation at age of 5 and 10 years was quite high (rg=0.62; 0.82). Estimation of genetic gain for height and diameter by within family selection was 0.10% and 0.07% for 5 years and 0.53% and 1.01% for 10 years
